Amen!
Assumptions are something we should always leave at the door,
Judgements on other people’s behalf should be crushed on the floor,
You talk highly in front of people, but turn around and gossip some more,
Words have the ability to build up or tear down, what you say comes from your core.Your inner self, your words are the over flow of your heart,
Destruction occurs due to your speaking, I don’t think you realise the part,
You have to play in life, the example you set for those at the start,
Of this journey we travel, actions speak louder than words, look at what you impart.I’m not pointing the finger, but does it feel like its pointed at you?
Spiritually being stirred, maybe its your turn to become anew,
Refresh your relationship with God, so that you get a clue,
That your called to reflect Jesus, and not some teen spreading rumours like the flu.
I don’t know why I find this inspiring…
I think it is because regardless of the trials and testing times they have faced this season, they are still focused on their championship goal. They have truly been an amazing team this year and deserve to go deep into the playoffs!
Four things that could sink you too! First, they thought they were immune, that it couldn’t happen to them. Secondly, they were ‘asleep at the wheel’ and failed to heed five different warnings. Thirdly, it wasn’t one big thing, but a series of small things that took them under. Finally, the problem that finally destroyed them was hidden beneath the waterline, out of sight.
The Bible says, ‘These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us… So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!’ (1 Corinthians 10:11-12 NIV)
Not one of us, however strong, wise, successful or good, is immune to failure. Staying close to God will help make sure the iceberg of a mistake won’t sink you.
Ps Marty Oravec was preaching on being people of influence and he spoke amazingly well. One moment grabbed my attention as Marty spoke on the fact that Jesus was so open and ended up on the cross.
My eyes just flashed to a vision of Jesus standing there with rays of sunshine lighting the place up. I just stood there gobsmacked then I ran to Jesus crying and hugged him tightly. He embraced me with a smile.

I kept saying “Thank you so much for what you did. I’m free because of you, thank you, thank you, thank you!” Jesus then looked at me and said, “It was my pleasure, what is said has been done. Now go and set others free” Then BOOM, my mind was back to where it was supposed to be.
I haven’t forgotten it since then. Thank you God for everything you have done!
